Tuiyo is not a Fork of Community Builder, JomSocial or any other networking component for Joomla! It is built from the ground-up, with unique features.

And we work hard to test, try, hack and improve security on a regular basis, resulting in a secure component. However never take anything for granted when it comes to security. Tuiyo has been in development since May of 2009 as continuation of the popular Joomunity component, and as you will imagine from the type of component and the goal we seek to achieve we rather take careful steps, rather than rush a stable release which serves no one right. The core features of Tuiyo are developed part-time, by a single developer. However the component benefits from a rich shower of thoughts from a vast community with great interest in the component.
