The global account configuration page, is a one stop location for front-end user configuration or any aspect of their profile, and community experience. It encompases, Basic profile settings; such as account information, profile picture, contact information, language and localization settings, as well as Privacy, Design and Social Information (Custom Profiles). In this section we provide a brief overview on the implications and use of this page. To access the global configuration page, from your dashboard click "Global account settings" on the page navigation menu.
Basic Profile Settings
By basic profile, we refer to all the settings which are primary to the functioning of your profile, this includes details such as your name, your profile picture, your language settings and optional contact information.
Account Information : Most of the details in this section would have already been provided at registeration, however should you need to edit them, this can be achieved from this section. We also point out, that for logical reasons, it is impossible to change the username with which a user was registered. For more on this please read the section on creating a new user account. Also, Should you wish to supsend or delete your account simply select the associated checboxes and click update your profile; follow the remaining instructions were promted. Chose Profile Picture: Chosing a profile picture is now simplified by the asynchronous upload form. The new photo, is resized to fit three sizes widely used through out the community. This include a 200px by 200px for your main profile, a 70px by 70px and 35px by 35px version for your activity timeline and applications. Developers intending to find out more about how to use profile pictures, should read the appropriate section in the developers guide.

Contact Information, Language and Localization
Keep your contact information up to date, by completing this section of your basic profile. It probably would have not been populated at registration. Its important to note, that when you befriend another member of the community, your contact information is automatically added to their address book. Ironically, they cannot edit your contact information, so to help them contact you, its important that you keep this section updated. You can also give additional permission on how your contact information is made available throughout the community, for more on this readon, or check the section on Privacy settings in this guide.
Language and Localization settings are crucial to your experience. Though tuiyo will attempt to determine your these from your browser it will be a million times easier and even more accurate, if you let the system know where you are an what language you use. That can be achieved from this section
SocialBook Information and custom profile Fields
Your SocialBook refers to any custom information structure designed by your comunities executive, to reflect your interest or identity in the overal theme of the community, in lay terms, it refers to information such as your favorite quotes, favorite books, favorite movies, etc. This section is non universal to the tuiyo component and as such, you should contact your system administrator should you have any problems with this section.
Profile Privacy settings
This probably will be the most sensitive section of your profile configuration, and its important for users to pay particular attention to. In summary, privacy can be set to almost any aspect of a user profile. By default though, user profiles are set to public, some elements of the profile can only be viewed by registred users.
